Britain’s FIA Formula 4 series will continue to support the British Touring Car Championship at nine events in 2023, including live ITV television coverage and capacity spectator crowds across the UK.

In addition, the championship will break new ground as the first ever FIA-certified Formula 4 series to hold a race meeting around the full, 3.6-mile Grand Prix layout, held in support of the British Endurance Championship on 23-25 June 2023.

The championship’s usual format – two practice sessions, qualifying and three 20-minute races – will be adhered to, ensuring competitors retain the same 30-race schedule, with plenty of track time to aid their driver development. Live streaming of the race meeting will be available online.

The full calendar, which takes in all of the UK’s premier circuits and offers the perfect learning curve for motorsport’s stars of tomorrow, begins with the first of two trips to Donington Park on 22-23 April, utilising the National layout.

Trips to Brands Hatch’s Indy circuit (6-7) and the 300 configuration at Snetterton (20-21) headline the action in May, before visits to Thruxton, Oulton Park and the aforementioned trip to Silverstone in June to usher in the summer break.

Following a four-week hiatus, Croft kicks off the post-summer campaign on 29-30 July, before Britain’s FIA Formula 4 series heads north to Scotland, and Knockhill.

In a move that ensures three current or former Grand Prix circuits feature on the calendar, the second visit to Donington Park in August will be run on the longer GP loop, before the season concludes with its now-traditional date on Brands Hatch’s Grand Prix configuration in early October.

“It’s another excellent step forward for ROKiT British F4 to visit the full Grand Prix circuit at Silverstone as part of the 2023 calendar,” says Hugh Chambers, Chief Executive Officer of Motorsport UK.

“With additional trips to Donington and Brands Hatch’s Grand Prix circuits, as well as the other premier circuits in the UK, the calendar will serve as an excellent learning platform for young drivers.

“We have always placed a great deal of importance on listening and engaging with the paddock, and we know all the teams will be excited by the make-up of the series for next year.”

The final 2023 ROKiT British F4 calendar is therefore as follows:
