A red flag-interrupted qualifying session and tricky conditions left the Filipino racer an uncharacteristic 15th on the grid, but his fighting spirit shone through in race trim.

Coseteng was on the offensive right from the get-go in the opener, charging through from the back row of the grid to claim the final points-paying position in tenth. He then went several better during an action-packed reverse grid contest, gaining ten places to finish a tremendous fifth on the road.

A weekend of forward momentum was then rounded out with 7th, and another four spots in race three, bringing his total across the weekend to a superb 19 positions gained.

Another ‘Hardest Charger’ will be selected after the next round of the championship, which takes place at Croft Circuit in Yorkshire on 25-26 June.
